National Night Out

 Coordinated by the Bay City Department of Public Safety as an annual community building campaign. Taking place the first Tuesday of August every year, it is  designed to promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better place to live.  The Bay City Noon Optimist Club cooks, and serves, hot dogs, passes out chips, pop, and ice cream treats to approximately 2000 attendees.
