These two young ladies, Amelia M. and Ava W. (Also best friends) set up a Lemonade Stand, and for the second time raised a pile of money, over $500 dollars total to be exact, to help fund the Bay City Noon Optimists Clubs Monthly Birthday Party for the kids at the Good Samaritan Rescue Mission. They were inspired after volunteering to work the Birthday Party and seeing the appreciation of the children at the Rescue Mission. It is because of good deeds as this that makes one realize how valuable organizations such as ours are in a community, and the impact our programs has on its kids, and the community at large.

For the last 16+ years, the Bay City Noon Optimist Club has held a monthly Birthday Party for all children residing at the Good Samaritan Rescue Mission. If the child's birthday is that month, they receive a present from our club. All children present also receive a goody bag, ice cream, cake, and a craft that they have created to take with them. The staff at these parties are all volunteers of the Bay City Noon Optimist Club.
