Bay City Noon Optimist Club

Travelogue and Adventure Series

In our 33rd year, this is a program that gives a unique opportunity for individuals to experience travel through the eyes of a videographer, who presents  either an in person, or perhaps a recorded, narration of their travels. This year's shows will be on November 17, 2025 January 12, 2026' and March 23, 2026.

Join us for this relaxing, enjoyable time, suitable for the whole family

Baycity Noon Optimist Club for a Better Future

Our 8th Annual Camel Races will be held on November  8th, 2025.  Wooden Camels, limited to the first 24 Camels, sponsored by individuals and businesses, dressed very creatively, are raced against one another determined by the roll of numbered cubes.  Proceeds from our first year's races went to the Boys and Girls Club, Bay City, for the purchase of gym bleachers.  Our 2nd year's proceeds went to the  Riverview Discovery Island Project, a children's Playscape that was built here in Bay City.  Our third year's proceeds went to help fund "River Jordan, Inc.", a Youth Transitional Home for teens in Bay County. This year's races will be held on November 3, 2023 at the Kawkawlin Township Hall, 1836 East Parish Road, Kawkawlin, Mi. In our 5th year we used the net proceeds to fund the many programs that the Bay City Noon Optimist Club supports for the youth  in our communities, along with presenting a check for $7,000 to the Santa House of Bay City. The net proceeds of our 6th Annual Camel Race once again went to fund the many programs of the Bay City Noon Optimist Club, and once again presented the Santa House of Bay City with a check for $5,000.  This event is licensed under Michigan State Lottery Laws.  More information on our 7th Annual Camel Race, as well as a list of its sponsors, will be available here as we get closer to the races.
